LIVE by Po-Shen Loh is an interactive online math community where students learn to think deeply, collaborate with motivated peers, and experience math as something exciting, social, and empowering. Through dynamic live coaching sessions, students are challenged to approach problems creatively, explain their reasoning clearly, and build the kind of flexible thinking that supports success in school, future careers, and everyday life. LIVE is designed to help students become not only stronger in math, but more confident learners who are ready to take on life’s challenges. This session is designed for counselors who want to connect students, especially those in rural communities, with engaging math coaching for middle school students and meaningful leadership opportunities for high school students. We’ll cover:

• How middle school students (starting in 6th grade) can build inventive problem-solving skills and boost confidence through challenging and engaging math sessions, preparing them for any opportunity in life
• How high school students can develop leadership and communication skills while finding joy in helping others through internship opportunities
• Practical ways counselors can support students in accessing these resources
